Your preparation is important to us

Technical and rental equipment
All equipment such as harnesse, ice axe, crampons, helmet, snowshoes, poles, ski touring set (skis, skins and crampons), etc. can easily be rented from us. Attached to the confirmation there is a list with prices and an order form. You can also rent our equipment for private trips.

Clothing
Chose functional and breathable clothing that conducts moisture away from your body. Apply the principle of multi-layers, so you can optimally respond to changes in temperature.

Boots in winter
For our freeride and off-piste ski courses "normal" ski shoes can be used. For all other courses we recommend touring ski boots. Many touring ski boots are nowadays are so well designed that they can be used for piste skiing as well as ski tours. For snowshoe trips, we recommend a high, well-insulated and waterproof hiking or climbing boot.

Boots in summer
For the Aletsch Glacier hike and alpine hikes high, waterproof hiking boots are just fine. For all other trips, we recommend high, waterproof mountaineeering boots that are crampon compatible. For our rock climbing courses we recommend climbing shoes. These can be rented from us.

Lunch
Best if you buy snacks before the trip. Ideal are chocolate and energy bars, dried meat, cheese and bread, nuts and dried fruit. In most mountain huts you can buy chocolate. We provide the tea for your thermos flask.

Packing your rucksack - a hot topic!
Don't pack too much! You'll be amazed how little you really need. A set of functional clothes for during the day, a cotton shirt for the hut, remember you will be carrying it all. For two day or multi-day trips we recommend a rucksack with a volume between 30 and 40 liters.
