Little known Walcherhorn 3693m

This small summit stands in the shade of its neighbouring 4000m summits and isn't a particularly popular mountain. Unjustifiedly though, since it makes a fantastic view point nestled in between the world famous Mönch and Eiger. This is an ideal day trip from Jungfraujoch, possible in summer or on snow shoes or touring skis in winter.

Day 1 
Train journey to Jungfraujoch, across the Mönchsjoch and up to the summit of the Walcherhorn 3692m.
