Little known Walcherhorn 3693m

This small summit stands in the shade of it's neighbouring 4000m summits and isn't a particularly popular mountain. Unjustifiedly though, since it makes a fantastic view point nestled in between the world famous Mönch and Eiger. This is an ideal day trip from Jungfraujoch, possible in summer or on snow shoes in winter. You don't need any previous experience, this trip is ideal for seniors and families with children 12 years or older. It takes 3hrs to reach the summit and another 3hrs to get back.

Day 1 
Train journey to Jungfraujoch, climb the Walcherhorn 3692m via the Mönchsjoch.
