In summer or winter the Trift area is always worth a trip! Situated in between the Susten and Grimsel passes it is an area relatively unknown to most and therefore not crowded at all. The access is facilitated by the local hydro power station (KWO) funicular.
Day 1
Meet in Meiringen, taxi ride to Handegg, funicular ride and ski up to the Gelmer hut at 2412m.
Day 2
We cross the Diechterhorn 3389m and ski to the Trift hut at 2520m.
Day 3
Ski tour to the Maasplangenstock 3340m.
Day 4
Ascent of Tieralplistock 3383m and descent to Grimselpass.

Our mountain guide will meet you at the train station in Meiringen at 9.35am.
