general terms of contract

1.      Deadline for enrolment
Group lessons for beginners on skis and snowboard commence on Monday. More experienced and advanced participants may also join a group during the week.

For all group lessons in the snow sports school the deadline for enrolment is the day prior to the beginning of the course. Should the class not be totally full, enrolment on the day of the beginning of the course is possible. We cannot, though, guarantee the availability of free places.

Private lessons can be booked not only in advance, but also at short notice on the day depending on availability of snow sport instructors.

2.      Cancellation of a reserved lesson by the guest
Reimbursement after cancellation of a group lesson is possible only on presentation of a doctor’s certificate.

 Private lessons can be cancelled by the guest until 5pm the evening before at no cost. Cancellations after this time will be charged 100%.

 3.      Cancellation of a lesson by the snow sports school
The snow sports school reserves the right to cancel lessons should weather or snow conditions, official measures, circumstances beyond our control or closure of the transport facilities make the lesson impossible. Guests will be informed of any cancellations immediately. On cancellation due to the above-mentioned reasons, no compensation will be paid. The snow sports school will make every effort to offer a suitable alternative programme.

 For group lessons there is a minimum number of participants depending on type of lesson, age category and level of ability. Should this minimum number of participants not be reached, the snow sports school reserves the right to cancel the course. The guest will be reimbursed in full.

 Should a private lesson be cancelled by the snow sports school (e.g. due to sickness of instructor) the cost will be reimbursed in full.

4.      Alteration to lessons
Depending on weather and snow conditions the arranged meeting point and the choice of equipment may have to be changed.

Should the minimum number of participants corresponding to the type of lesson, age category and level of ability no longer be reached during the course of the week, the snow sports school reserves the right to amalgamate groups or terminate the course prematurely. Should the group lesson be terminated, the guest will be reimbursed on a pro rata basis according to the snow sports school for the lessons not received.

During the high-season the snow sports school may offer the half-day group lessons in the afternoon rather than in the morning. This may occur for reasons of capacity on the nursery slopes and corresponds to the level of quality we strive to maintain in our instruction.

Should lack of fitness of a participant or unsuitable snow sports equipment lead to the premature termination of the lesson, no reimbursement will be made.

 5.      Insurance
All participants are responsible for sufficient insurance coverage. We decline all responsibility for accidents. The snow sports school recommends all guests to take out accident and health insurance before commencing the course.

 6.      Additional conditions
All prices in Euros stated in brochures and internet are for your information only. Euros are accepted at the daily rate of exchange.

 7.      Court of jurisdiction
Sole court of jurisdiction isInterlaken. All disputes are subject to the Swiss law.
